bridge over troubled water

Visited Madrid (and accidentally Frankfurt, but that's beside the point) this weekend and fell in love with this bridge; there is a tragic legend associated with it, but I think that is pretty much the case for all bridges, no?

Madrid is really beautiful and definitely worth any and all travel delays or inconveniences. Just don't fly Spanair.

The Strossmayer Gallery of Old Masters:

Spent the day at Jarun lake,

Saw this sign on my walk home from the movie theater:

Going to go ahead and file that under "Reasons Why I Am A Vegetarian" and "Menu Items Soon To Be Featured At Harris Dining Hall."

Delicious, even if soy milk isn't so cappuccino-friendly. HOWEVER, as much as I love espresso drinks and instant coffee (jklolsorrygottapuke), I would probably sell my soul for a regular drip coffee right about now. Not. Even. Kidding. And, like, if there was ice involved...
